Winter Goal:

Did you know that Oregon has approximately 15,188 public charities, denoted as 501(c)(3)? These mission driven organizations support social services, health care, education, the arts, and related public benefit activities. Each one has a special need that can help it fulfill its mission.

We believe that people will fill the need, once they know what it is. The number of donations being posted to our website is growing quickly, but the items aren't always being claimed. We want to make sure they get connected with NPOs who are looking for the donations they post.

Currently, DonorsResource.org has 350 registered nonprofits (NPOs). Our goal this winter is to increase awareness of the available donations with npos in need.

Imagine the weight lifted from NPOs when they can easily connect to the stuff they need to simply function. The cycle of giving and receiving created by the DonorsResource model provides breathing space for NPOs to fulfill their mission.
