How to Donate (Portland Metro Area only)
DonorsResource.org is simple to use. From the home page, click the “donate” button. Then:
1. Post items like furniture, household goods or office supplies.
2. Nonprofits receive an notice via email.
3. You will be contacted to arrange pick up or delivery of your donation
Your information will only be shared with a nonprofit that “claims” your donation.
Donor Hints:
- Add a photo and/or describe the shape,
size, color of your items - Clothes in bundles of 20 or more are most
helpful - Refrain from posting unusable, worn,
damaged items

When nonprofits register their organization, top three needed items are listed which allows our system to find a “match”. Also, at anytime nonprofits can log in and access all available donations posted by generous donors like you.
The directory search feature is another way to connect with nonprofit organizations. From the homepage you can search our database find a nonprofit organization by name, cause supported or zip code in your area!
This feature is especially useful if you would like to arrange a donation drive for a specific nonprofit organization.
We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that makes the needed “matches” between individuals and businesses that want to give stuff with nonprofits in need.
We do not handle, store or move donations.
